Dreamwords

The Honesty Edition comes in two flavours: Digital and Print. Both have a common aim - To test the premise that - in the world of books at least - trust can be more powerful than manipulation. As books go digital, publishers and authors fear that readers will no longer pay if they can pirate. By printing 10,000 physical copies and setting them loose, I wanted to demonstrate my commitment to my belief that most people are honest if they are treated with respect and they are not struggling to survive. If true, and enough enjoy Dreamwords, the return will match or exceed that from putting all 10,000 copies through the traditional route. Further, by releasing the ebook on the same terms, I also release the potential for the novel to seek out its own readers. By risking everything, my dream is to make The Dreamwords Series fly with the help of those who enjoy it. I also want to send a message to others about the world we live in. Protecting ourselves from predators should never come at the cost of locking ourselves away. Our neighbour is not the enemy.
