Here is the new site ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Corven grew in the hearts of his listeners almost at the same time as he bloomed in the mind of his creator. Thousands of people waited for each chapter as it was written, recorded and delivered, radio-like, to their mp3 players. The last chapter was completed and cast on Sunday the 30th October 2005. Tom Corven and Web 2.0 Books are nothing without readers. Tom Corven is, above all, a traditional novel and it too, is nothing if it exists in a vacuum. Podcasting and social bookmarking sites such as digg.com are showing us the way. Nothing is written in stone yet. There are no rules and I will follow that to the letter.
I am doing this in the hope that, once hooked, you will want to read (or listen to) more. I am staking my career as a novelist on this approach. The links below lead to mp3 files for each chapter. The song you hear bookending each episode is called Voices from the Ether by Ascian. Beautiful and haunting. Perfect for Tom Corven. The recordings are not copy-protected (although I retain all copyrights). You may distribute them freely. In fact I implore you to distribute them freely. I only ask that no one alters the sound-file or attempts to make money from it.
